I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Economics of Lancaster University. My research focuses on the interplay between (mental) health, employment and disability insurance.
Before joining Lancaster, I was a post-doctoral fellow in the Retirement and Disability Policy Research Center at the National Bureau of Economics Research (NBER). I obtained my PhD at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Tinbergen Institute under the supervision of Prof.dr. Pierre Koning and dr. Paul Muller. You can find my CV here.
